Red Dragon has been directed by Brett Ratner, he of the Rush Hour movies. If that's a step down from Jonathan Demme and Ridley Scott, it turns out not to be a very big one.. Bad Boys II just goes on and on, with more dazzling camera work, more 'funny' murders and executions by the bad guys and the good guys and judiciously used profanity and the occasional 'N' word for comic effect.. There's no grace or wit here, no surprise -- and not even much nostalgia.. ... a nasty, mean-spirited movie.. Won...
